Eligibility Requirements
Active-duty military stationed at Fort Cavazos, including active Guard and Reserves, with dependent children aged 6 months to 12 years as of December 25, are eligible to apply.
You must be present on station during the application period. Applications are open to all ranks, focusing on E5 and below. Special circumstances or emergencies will be considered for all ranks. Selected families receive:
- 2 brand new toys
- 1 stocking stuffer
- 1 book per child
- 1 family game to promote quality time
How To Apply
Applications are accepted from September 1 to October 15. Submit your application by clicking the link below. All fields must be completed.
Required Information:
- Soldier’s Unit (Brigade, Battalion/Squadron, Company/Troop/Battery)
- Sponsor's unit CFRR or Point of Contact
- Explanation of Financial Need (general reason for hardship)
What If I Am Selected?
Application approval notifications will be sent out starting October 1st. If approved, our team will contact you with a shopping day sign-up. Slots are first-come, first-serve and may be limited. Bring a valid military ID.
Only one time slot will be provided to shop for all your children’s gifts. We ensure a great selection of toys throughout all shopping days. Spouses can shop without their soldier. You must shop at your designated time; rescheduling is for emergencies only.
Shopping Guidelines:
- No children allowed in the shopping area; arrange childcare.
- Children can be watched in the lobby if necessary.
- No strollers or wagons in the Workshop.
